The Informal Objection filed 2/26/2018 by New York Public Radio (NYPR), and all related pleadings ARE HEREBY GRANTED 2/26/2019 via Public Notice. No letter sent. NYPR alleges that the proposed facility violates 47 C.F.R. Section 74.1204(f) and should be dismissed. NYPR has submitted in its Supplement to Informal Objection documentation from listeners certifying that they are regular listeners of WNYC-FM, at home or work or while driving. By plotting the complainants’ specific listening locations on a map depicting the proposed translator’s amended 60 dBµ contour, NYPR indicates that those complainants listen within the amended 60 dBµ contour. By submitting Exhibits utilizing the U/D signal ratio, NYPR also provides evidence that the proposed translator will result in interference to the complainants at the listed locations. Therefore, we find that the application is in violation of 47 C.F.R. Section 74.1204(f) and we hereby dismiss the application.
