Why Did I Get This Page?

You have been redirected to this page because, to improve performance, the FCC has moved the KidVid system to a new server. The redirection could have occurred in two situations:

• If you are seeing this page when trying to start a new Form 398, you have used a link that contains the old server name. If so, please go to the KidVid Home Page at http://www.fcc.gov/mb/kidvid, use the updated links there, and then reset your favorites or bookmarks.

• If you are seeing this page when trying to perform an operation on a saved Form 398 (such as "Update Local Data"), please use this tool and follow the instructions in the Change Server Tool section below.

Change Server Tool

This tool can update the server name in an old saved Form 398 file. Follow the steps below:

1. Press the "Browse..." button below to specify your saved file.
2. Press the "Send Attached File" button to send the file to the FCC for conversion.
3. The updated file will be returned to your browser (usually, in less than a minute). Afterward, follow the instructions that appear in the popup alert box (which will tell you to press "OK" to close the alert box and then press "Update Local" to finish the process).
4. You have successfully converted your file when the Address (or Location) box of your browser includes the server licensing.fcc.gov.
